Linear equations and inequalities

Linear equations and inequalities

     Linear Equations One Variable

Linear Equations One Variable means a cubic equation. In this linear equation applicable law: nononononononoooonononon # segment left and right sides can be multiplied or divided by the same number.

example:

    r: 10

1. r + 3 = 10.

   r + 3-3 = 10-3 (equally as reduced by the same number, namely 3)
   r = 7

2. 3p = 12

   3p / 3 = 12/3 (equally divided by the same number, namely 3)
   p = 4

     Linear inequalities one variable

One variable linear inequality meaning open sentence that has the sign <,>, the law of linear equations:

     Left and right segment can be added, subtracted, multiplied, or divided by the same number
     if the variable is marked minus, to be changed to positive by multiplying a negative number and reverse the signs

example: 1. 5v - 7> 23

   5v - 7 + 7> 23 + 7
   5v / 5> 30/5
   v> 6

2. -2a <10

   -2a / -2> 10 / -2
   a> -5 \

3. -2a <10

   -2a / -2> 10 / -2
   a> -5 \
