Rational number

Rational number is a number that can be expressed as a / b where a, b integers and b is not equal to 0. where the limits of rational numbers is to start from selanga (- , ).

Numbers can be said to be divided into 2 major sekup are rational numbers and irrational numbers. When we say of rational numbers mean in it already includes other numbers such as integers, natural numbers, natural numbers, prime numbers, and other numbers are a subset of the rational numbers.

Examples of rational numbers:

     If a / b = c / d then, ad = bc.

     \ frac {a} {b} + \ frac {c} {d} = \ frac {ad + bc} {bd}.

     \ frac {a} {b} \ cdot \ frac {c} {d} = \ frac {ac} {bd}.

     - \ Left (\ frac {a} {b} \ right) = \ frac {-a} {b} = \ frac {a} {-b} \ quad \ mbox {and} \ quad \ left (\ frac {a} {b} \ right) ^ {-1} = \ frac {b} {a} \ mbox {if} a \ neq 0.

     \ frac {a} {b} \ div \ frac {c} {d} = \ frac {ad} {bc}.
