Sepak takraw

Sepak takraw is a mix of sports from football and volleyball, played on a doubles badminton court, and the player may not touch the ball with his hands. The most prestigious championship in this branch is the King's Cup World Championships, which was last held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The game is derived from the Malay Sultanate era ((634-713)) and is known as the Football Venues in Malay. The ball is made of woven rattan and players stand in a circle.

The earliest historical records about the football body found in Malay history. When the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah Ibni Muzzaffar late Sultan Shah (1459 - 1477), a son named Raja Ahmad has thrown the country karana kill the Treasurer due to disputes when playing football body. The rules are similar to volleyball with a difference:

     players may not touch the ball with his hands
     player or team may only touch the ball three times in a row
     position defender does not play
